I am a graduate student in philosophy at Sorbonne Université. I am interested in the question of representations in artificial neural networks and the emergence of concepts in connectionist systems. My work is situated in the philosophy of AI, philosophy of mind and philosophy of language. I am also interested in metaphysics, logic and epistemology.
This research will be pursued as part of a PhD that I will start in autumn 2025 at the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence.
Before doing philosophy, I was studying mathematics. I have a Master's degree from PSL University in Applied Mathematics, with a specialization in machine learning and Bayesian statistics.
Other than philosophy and mathematics, I play jazz guitar. I am also musical director for the musical theatre company Side by Side. You can find out more about my musical activities here.
